Rotor turnstiles

Rotor turnstiles are designed for control of access to facilities with high requirements for passage comfort which is ensured by automatic rotation of the wings. A selection of a few guide barrier set designs allows to choose a version that fits best both security and aesthetic requirements of the entrance point. There are two basic models of turnstiles devided according to their high and applications: RTD-03S and RTD-15.

Model RTD-03S

Waist-high models intended for indoor applications with various types of guide barriers.

Features:

• 90° rotor configuration
• Various types of guide barriers
• Automatic reset of rotor wings after each passage
• Key override control enables mechanical unblocking of the turnstile for free rotation in both directions.
• External control unit with power supply

• Built-in LED directional indicators into guide barrier

Model RTD-15

Full height rotor turnstiles are designed for complete and secure closure of a passageway and used for control of access at locations with high security requirements, both indoors and outdoors. Turnstiles are characterized by high degree of resistance to weather and vandalism. They can be used together with protective polycarbonate canopy RTC-15R and security gate WHD-15 (see next).

• Rigid welded aluminium construction
• Motorized model RTD-15.1 and electromechanical model RTD-15.2
• Inertia-free and smooth rotation by electric drive
• Flush mounted walkway downlights
• Key override control for each direction
• "Fire Alarm" control input to unlock the turnstile from fire alarm system or emergency button
• Increased access control in "Lock-chamber" mode
• Relay outputs for connection of intrusion detector and siren
• Automatic reset of rotor wings after each passage
• Built-in LED directional indicators
• Remote control
• Canopy with drainage to protect against the elements and climbing over (optional)
• Integration with access control systems, e.g. Patrol
• Operation temperatures: -40°C až +55°C
• Safe supply voltage: 24V DC

Operation modes:

• Always free, the turnstile is open for entry and exit
• Always locked, the turnstile is closed for entry and exit
• Free passage in the set direction, the turnstile is open for multiple passages in the permitted direction and closed in the opposite direction
• "Lock-chamber" access mode for additional video or biometric identification when increased access control is required
• 1. Entrance in the chamber, wing has turned 60° in the permitted direction
• 2. Lock chamber, additional verification (biometric, PIN)
• 3. Positive verification, wing has turned 60° in the permitted direction and entrance is allowed or negative verification, wing has turned 60° in return direction and entrance is rejected
